About Sue Brown

I bring over 30 years’ experience leading policy, strategy and influence across the charity sector. I have extensive experience of leading charity coalitions and alliance. My work is driven by a commitment to putting service users/patients at the heart of improvement work and a passion for tackling inequalities.

I’ve held senior management roles in large organisations, been CEO of a small charity, and served nine years as trustee and vice chair. I’m currently a governor of an NHS Trust. This experience has given me a depth of understanding of leadership and governance and the needs of charities of different sizes and sectors.

I’m a trained facilitator (ICA) and member of the International Association of Facilitators, committed to ethical and inclusive practice. Working extensively with disabled people’s organisations has shaped how I design every session — ensuring accessibility, creativity and genuine inclusion. Now based in Northumberland after many years in London, I support organisations across the UK, both online and in person.
